The life of technical difficulties
That seems to be my life lately....lol. Just a fyi my ipod battery shut down and i had to send it in, so for the next 10 days i will be emailing my runs to Matt. Today i ran 8 miles with my father who is not in this challenge but likes the idea. He has been running against me and my sister Mikki logging his miles on paper. So we have a little family competition going on as well. Mikki and I ran the Provo marathon last saturday. This was the first year this marathon started it was definatly interesting. We put in for the St. George marathon as well. Any one else coming with us?? We ran it 2 years ago and it was AWESOME!!

SLC half marathon
For those of you who don't know... Zach got a job offer in Provo, and he accepted. So, we are moving to Provo April 12th. Well, conveniently we will be there right in time for the SLC marathon April 19th. So, I did something crazy... I registered for the half marathon. I'm a little nervous because I have been really lazy about running these last couple weeks. So, wish me luck and pray for me that I won't die! Anyone want to do it with me? It will be fun. Zach is going to talk to his work and try to work something out. So hopefully he will be running in it too. WOO HOO for running

Go Team!!!
This is a super sweet blog idea. This was a great challenge idea it has definitely kept me motivated!! The t-shirt idea is a great one count me in. I wanted to let anyone who might be having a problem with syncing their ipod to the nike website know that they told me they were having a problem on their end with the 3rd generation ipods and that is should be fixed on monday. Well today is thurs. and it is still not fixed. I did notget to sync any of my info for the last week of feb. or this week as of yet. So any of you that thought maybe you were pulling ahead of the oh GREAT ONE Think Again........... (MUWAAA HAAAA HAAA) I am still running!!!!!! and not slowing down. I am merely a figment there at the bottom to mislead you in thinking your going to kick my butt. LOL ( sorry i am a little not normal!) Just like to have fun!!! You guys are rockin it. I will be pulling a Tonia Harding/Nancy Carigon on my sister to slow her down if any of you have any super great ideas on how please let me know. (psst not on the blog.) JK

Still too much snow!
Alright, so the sky is blue today in good ol' Rexburg. So I thought, hey, I'll go run outside! And my run was great, except at one point I tried to take a short cut and stepped in snow up to my knees! It was pretty cold... anyways, I am grateful for the weather but am excited for the snow to go away!

Keep up the good work!
Hey guys, I as well have found this club to be VERY motivating. Good idea Emily! I honestly have never run this much in such a short amount of time, so it is fun to see that I can do it. Also, it will be fun to see how much further than 160 miles we go! We are all doing so well! (Zach said that girls love exclamation points! It's true!) Anyways, good luck to all and keep up the great work.

Here's to March!
Well....you all are doing a great job. I am so proud and excited for all the running that's been going on. I'm proud of myself for simply surviving February. Things have been rough....BUT!...that's all changing now because Erik gets home at midnight tonight, so you all better watch your back because I'm coming after you. We've still got three months to go and I'm determined to catch up. (Sorry to bum you out Mikki, I hope you haven't already put a macBook on hold, because I'm on the prowl.)

Welcome to the Nike Plus Running Club
I have found this running club to be quite motivating. There is something about seeing my progress and comparing it to others that helps keep me interested and motivates me to run even more. I thought it might be worthwhile to create this blog where we could post ideas, share thoughts, or make challenges to each other.
